Venue Access & Extended Time

All wedding rentals include full-day access from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM

Additional time may be purchased at $200/hour, up to 2:00 AM. Extended hours must be requested and paid at least 7 days prior to your event; same-day extensions are not available.

Guest Count & Capacity

We provide tables and chairs for up to 50 guests
Hosting more? We welcome up to 200 guests total
For larger events, additional rentals will be needed (you can bring your own or we can connect you with local vendors)

Booking & Payment Details

To reserve your date, we require a non-refundable deposit equal to 50% of the total rental cost. The remaining balance is due no later than 30 days before your event.

Payment Plans?

You’re welcome to make smaller payments over time through Square, rather than paying everything at once. We can also adjust your deposit due date if you need a little more time.

All we ask is that the full balance is paid 30 days before your event.

Sound & City Ordinance Guidelines

Hutchinson city ordinance, all amplified music must end by 10:00 PM. After that, celebrations can continue with a softer, more intimate tone.

Allowed after 10 PM:

Slow dances

Mellow playlists

Toasts

Ambient lighting

Not permitted after 10 PM:

DJs or dance floors

Loud bass or high-volume music

Amplified performances like mariachi bands

Low-volume music is welcome, as long as it stays under 55 dBA — about the volume of conversation or soft background music.

Policies

Deposits & Payments

Required at booking to secure your date (applied to total rental cost)
Deposits are non-refundable
Payment plans available upon request
Date is confirmed once deposit and signed agreement are received

Security Deposit

All wedding rentals require a card on file. ss any deductions for damages, excessive cleaning, or violations.

Rescheduling & Cancellations

Wedding rentals may be rescheduled one time within 12 months if at least 90 days’ notice is provided, subject to a $500 rescheduling fee and availability. Deposits remain non-refundable. If no reschedule is completed within 12 months, all monies paid are forfeited.

Insurance Requirement

If alcohol is present, or if professional caterers or vendors are used, you must provide proof of event liability insurance naming The Archive 101 as an Additional Insured at least 14 days prior to your event.

Accepted Payments

Cash, check, or credit/debit card via Square Terminal. If a check is returned or funds are reversed, payment will be considered incomplete and must be replaced immediately to retain your booking.

Clean-Up Options

Included (No Charge)

You’re responsible for cleaning up and restoring the venue to its original condition within your rental period.

Walk-Away Clean-Up — $125 Flat Rate

Don’t want to worry about the mess? Just walk out at the end of your event — we’ll take care of the rest.
